Spray-Cooled™ applications include EAF Sidewall/Shell, EAF Roof, EAF Off-Gas Ductwork, EAF Roof Elbows, LMF Roofs, BOF Roofs, Smelting Furnace Roofs, and Panelized Applications. EAF Sidewalls/Shells enhance slag retention and increase scrap volume. EAF Steep Cone Roofs eliminate high-pressure and high-volume water leaks and are lightweight in construction. Off-Gas Ductwork reduces erosion-corrosion effects and has gas leak monitoring detection. EAF Roof Elbows reduce gas exfiltration into the environment. Inspection and repairs are made from the outside. Spray-Cooled™ equipment’s lack of valves and panel-to-panel jumper hoses eliminates two sources for water leaks.
